Dr. Fonseca is a consultation-liaison psychiatry fellow at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Their current fellowship includes a special focus on transgender medicine and reproductive psychiatry. They have special interests in cultural psychiatry, psychotherapy, medical ethics, physician wellness, and advocacy for their patients and profession. Dr. Fonseca currently serves on the APA Board of Trustees as APA/APAF SAMHSA and Diversity Leadership Fellowship Chair. They are open to career opportunities within academic psychiatry upon completion of the fellowship year.
