Andrea DeSimone, DO is the Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at Bayhealth Medical Center in Dover, Delaware. She completed undergraduate education at Hamilton College, earning a bachelor's degree in neuroscience. After graduating from Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. DeSimone completed psychiatry residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School. In addition to her administrative and clinical duties, Dr. DeSimone serves as the Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee within the Department of Graduate Medical Education.
